Start preparing for your summer internship over the break!

This was first sent out to #Students_Announce over email from Esther Livingston on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 5:09 pm.

Thanks to the 157 students who have already started preparing for a summer internship by submitting an Internship Agreement and getting enrolled in the Internship Prep Course!

That means there’s still about 100 of you that might need to complete the Internship Agreement before our office closes for winter break at 5:00 p.m. on December 19thif you want to be able complete the Prep Course while you are away. We will be back in the office on January 3rd and will continue enrolling students up through February 1st.

  1. Declare your intention to do a summer internship by completing the Internship Agreement any time before February 1st (or by Dec. 19th as mentioned above)
    • When the Agreement is received, you’ll be enrolled in the Internship Prep Course in Moodle.
  1. Complete all the required modules of the Internship Prep Course any time before February 15th.
    • The Prep Course replaces the previously required information sessions, and breaks down the multi-step process into more manageable segments.

The winter break is not only a great time to do the Prep Course, it is also a great time to start searching/considering possible internships for the summer, so you may want to take a look at these employers who will be attending the Internship Fair 11:30-1:30 on February 2nd in Baird Lounge. Below is a list of only the early registrants – there will be more! Some have already posted their positions in Handshake, but most will be doing that by January 12th.

Have a wonderful, restful break!
