Approximately 250 Berea students, representing all majors, participate in internships every year with a wide range of organizations – regionally and nationally – with almost all of them occurring during the summer term.

To earn academic credit, students must work full-time for 8-10 consecutive weeks in a supervised setting (in-person or virtual), for a minimum of 300 total work hours. Supervisors will receive a copy of the student’s Proposal for academic credit and the Agreement that the student signs with Berea’s Internship Program for informational and documentation purposes.
