FALL 2026: End of Semester Funding Deadlines
Explore the Career Development funding opportunities that are available to you as a Berea College junior or senior! Individual appointments or attending a required event to request funding is a required step in the process. Schedule an appointment and registration for events on Handshake. Please note that we do not issue any reimbursements.
❗Note: Internship Funding has separate steps and deadlines.
Important Career Development General Funding Dates and Deadlines for Fall 2026:
To ensure a smooth process for Career Development funding requests, please take note of the following critical dates:
- August 19-November 18: Funding appointments available – sign up on Handshake
- September 22: Dress for Success event – mandatory attendance to participate in professional clothing funds for fall term – sign up on Handshake.
- October 23: Deadline to request Travel Funding (4 weeks before the funding deadline).
- October 30: Deadline to request Certification Funding (if funds remain).
- November 18: Deadline for submitting proof of Certification completion.
- Failure to submit proof of completion by this date will result in a charge to your student account.
- November 18: Deadline for submitting all funding receipts.
- Failure to submit receipts by this date will result in a charge to your student account.
*Relocation Funding Dates and Deadlines for Fall 2026:
- October 19: Start date to submit relocation funding requests.
- December 11: Deadline to meet with Career Development Staff for Relocation Funding requests.
