Certification Funding – Fall 2026
Applications for Fall Certification Funding are currently being accepted until funds are depleted or the request deadline of October 30, 2026, whichever comes first. Because funding distribution may take 1–2 weeks, students are encouraged to apply early to ensure they have enough time to complete their certification.
Important Deadlines
Funding Request Deadline: October 30, 2026
Certification Completion and Receipt Deadline: November 18, 2026 (proof of completion and receipt must be submitted to the ICD Office by this date)
Students should plan accordingly to allow time for funding processing and certification completion.
Certification Funding is reserved for programs that lead to a recognized credential and directly support your academic or career goals.
- Courses or programs that do not result in a professional credential, or are unrelated to your field of study, may not be eligible.
- First-year students and sophomores are encouraged to either seek certification funding through their work-study position or take advantage of LinkedIn Learning for supplemental skill development.
- Micro-credentialing is free for all students and is supported by the Path to Purpose Work College Program. For more information, visit the Path to Purpose Program Dashboard.
- Please note that a faculty, staff, or professional recommendation is strongly encouraged when requesting certification funding.
To apply, students must complete the Certification Funding Request Form.
If the preliminary request is approved, students will then need to schedule a funding appointment on Handshake to finalize the request.
