Certification Funding – Spring 2026
Applications for Spring certification funding are currently being accepted until funds are depleted or the request deadline of March 27, 2026, whichever comes first. Because funding distribution may take 1–2 weeks, students are encouraged to apply early to ensure they have enough time to complete their certification.
Important Deadlines
Funding Request Deadline: March 27, 2026
Certification Completion Deadline: April 24, 2026 (proof of completion must be submitted to the ICD Office by this date)
Students should plan accordingly to allow time for funding processing and certification completion.
Certification Funding is reserved for programs that lead to a recognized credential and directly support your academic or career goals.
- Courses or programs that do not result in a professional credential, or are unrelated to your field of study, may not be eligible.
- First-year students and sophomores are encouraged to either seek certification funding through their labor position or take advantage of LinkedIn Learning for supplemental skill development.
- Microcredentialing is free for all students and is supported by the Labor Office. For more information, visit the Labor Program Dashboard.
- Please note that a faculty, staff, or professional recommendation is strongly encouraged when requesting certification funding.
To apply, students must complete the Certification Funding Request Form.
If the preliminary request is approved, students will then need to schedule a funding appointment on Handshake to finalize the request.
