The Internship Fair is Friday, February 2: Who’s Coming, What to Expect, & How to Prepare

Internship Fair: Registration is encouraged so we can have a name tag printed for you before you meet employers!

Students may arrive/leave as their schedules allow during the event time.

What to Expect:
Recruiters will talk with students on an individual basis about their organizations, the internships they have to offer, and how to apply.

What to Do/Bring:

• Seek out employers that are doing work aligned with your career plans and interests and introduce yourself (here’s an article on how to create an elevator pitch)!
• Bring multiple copies of your resume IF it has been reviewed.

Resume Review Resources:

• Visit Career Café (Mondays from 5-8 pm in Stephenson Hall 308)
• Creating Resumes, CVs, & Cover Letters
• 1-1 Resume Review Appointments

Attire: Business Casual. The focus should be on you, so it’s recommended to stick to neutral colors, simple accessories, and make sure your clothes are wrinkle-free. If you would like additional guidance and examples, visit our Professional You page or email us.
