Hear from Steve Phan, Chief of Interpretation, Education, & Visitor Services at Camp Nelson National Historic Monument in Nicholasville, KY, about the internship available this summer with this newly-created unit of the National Park Service (NPS). This internship will provide opportunities to work within and learn about how the NPS interprets and provides visitor services at this Civil War to Civil Rights site, be involved with building the Interpretive division and the visitor services at a new NPS site, and will be a chance to conduct research needed to advance the understanding and interpretation of Camp Nelson National Monument.
