  Handshake is your one stop shop for all things career! Schedule appointments, register for events, and search for internships and jobs! Login with your myBerea network username and password.
• Employers

  One of the best ways to connect and let Berea students and recent graduates know that you’re searching for top talent is to get plugged in via Handshake, our free career management platform used by over 1000 colleges and universities nationwide. Once registered, you can post your full-time and internship opportunities there, students can easily search for them, and our office can send them to targeted groups of students (and helpful faculty/staff), which can help find you the most appropriate applicants, based on what you’re looking for (and you can easily update your postings each year!). You can also search student resumes, register for upcoming career fairs/events, request on-campus interviews, and continue to build your brand with students.

  Searching for career opportunities yourself?

  Handshake can connect you to job opportunities based on your interests, profile, and search activity. It works a little like Netflix or Amazon – the more you use it and let it know what you’re looking for (by filling out your profile, uploading your resume information, etc.), the more relevant and intuitive its suggestions will be, which means the more useful to you it will be! Through Handshake, you can sign up for events and workshops available to Alumni, search and apply for jobs, explore companies, manage your networking connections, and access valuable resources only available to current students and alumni provided by Internships & Career Development.

  Recent Graduates

  If you’re a recent graduate (Fall 2017 or later), you are likely already familiar with Handshake! Shortly following graduation, your existing Handshake account will automatically be transferred to an Alumni account (no need to register for a new one). Login using your student email address (berea.edu) and your password. If you’d like to use a different email address (such as your new bereaalumni.org email or another account such as Gmail), you can opt to change your email address and password once you log in.
