*This is an in-office position based out of our location in Warrenville, IL*
American Guardian Warranty Services, Inc. (AGWS), an affiliate of Reynolds and Reynolds, is looking for a Product Development Analyst to join our growing team. In this role you will be responsible for performing strategic analysis of market trends. You will be tasked with evaluating new business opportunities to develop, and implement competitive products that lead to customer growth and profitability.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
– Lead the efforts to analyze the financial potential of new product ideas, along with presenting the corresponding plans and justification for new business opportunities
– Utilize knowledge of pricing, processes, and the industry to analyze products and ensure market position is maintained
– Collaborate with all applicable departments to ensure program accuracy from development through implementation
– Be the point of contact on all product development or modification related inquiries
– Build, strengthen, and maintain positive business relationships by establishing rapport with customers (agents, dealers, vendors, and internal personnel)
– Translate business ideas and market opportunities or trends into new product ideas
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-5 years of Product Development experience or related experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products and related software
- Strong analytical skills and ability to propose creative solutions
- Must be able to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Service Contract/Warranty Experience is a plus
