Worship Ministry Intern- Spring 2027
The Worship Ministry Intern will have a unique experience to work with our talented worship team to create top-notch experiences for our family who attends worship and other programs each week. A talent with instruments and or vocals is a must, as is a passion for connecting worshippers to God. We are looking for the next generation of worship leaders, music directors, and worship pastors who are called to the ministry of worship. This experience will be tailored to your needs to help identify and develop the gifts God has given you to build His Kingdom.
Basic Requirements:
- Profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior- This is an absolute requirement for all interns.
- Agree with and agree to conduct yourself in alignment with these additional beliefs: real.life/about
- Feel called to worship ministry as a part-time or full-time career.
- Have a servant’s heart and be ready to jump in and serve
- Desire and ability to lead a worship band
- Musical talent in one or more instruments and/or vocals as evidenced in a video submission

- Complete agreed-upon Learning Objectives
Responsibilities:
- Assist Worship Pastor and Worship Experience Director in meetings, auditions, special events, and scheduling
- Help develop meaningful worship experiences via creative planning (services and set lists)
- Make connections & foster relationships with volunteer team members
- Lead worship or play for worship at least once a week, either at our weekly worship services, Student Life, or Young Adults.
General info:
Expect to be on the Real Life campus (1501 Steves Road, Clermont, FL 34711) at least 3 days per week and work 15-20 hours/week.
Typical hours would be Sunday 8am-1pm plus 10 – 15 additional hours Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm. Student Life and Young Adults meet in the evenings, so performance at these may be required. Must be flexible to hours outside of these hours with appropriate notice.
The internship is 12 weeks long from Sunday January 31st – Thursday April 22nd. No spring break is built into the schedule, but can be discussed with the team.
Pay: $150.00 per week.
