The role
Kettle is a team of passionate, fearless creatives focused on delivering great products, redefining best-practices, and providing new opportunities for our clients.
We are now accepting applications for our remote, 10 week, paid Summer internship program, working alongside our Client Services and Production teams.
Our Client Services and Production teams are responsible for managing day-to-day activities across client engagements. They partner with a multi-disciplinary team of strategists, designers, motion designers, writers, and developers to deliver successful projects on time and on budget.
As our Project Management Intern, you will work closely with our Client Service and Production team members to make sure project statuses are conveyed clearly and progress is tracked through to successful delivery. A core tenant of Project Management is deep account knowledge and ongoing management of project timelines, milestones, resources, and budgets.
What you’ll do:
- Shadow two managers within the Client Service and Production disciplines
- Shadow a cross department team member of your choosing
- Manage and organize internal teams against milestones, feedback and allocated budget
- Use tools like Google Drive, DropBox, Notion, Slack, Smartsheet and other team and project management systems
- Communicate with Kettle team members across departments and geographies on a daily basis
- Work with the Creative, Strategy, Motion/Edit and Technology teams to:
- Participate in client meetings and manage meeting notes, file delivery, and other administrative client related asks as directed
- Practice your storytelling skills to manage the narrative of the work and the team internally and externally
- Partner with other interns on a final Intern Presentation based on a previous agency brief and present that work to the full agency
What we’re looking for:
- Confident presentation skills, and excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficient in organization, time management and collaboration
- An interest in advertising, communications, and/or business operations in a creative agency environment
Requirements:
- You must be entering your senior year of undergraduate studies, a recent graduate, master’s student, career changer, reentering the workforce, or switching careers
- You must be currently based in the U.S
- You must be able to work approximately 40 hours per week for the duration of the program
The salary range for this role is between $20 – $25 per hour based skill set, education level, and experience.
