As a member of the Communications Team within Private Wealth Management, you will oversee a variety of operational and project management activities to support compelling and timely communication to branch associates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the team’s ongoing communication efforts by helping write and publish content, including emails, calendar invites, news stories, talking points, presentations and more.
- Provide tactical support during complex change initiatives, acquisitions and/or significant events.
- Help maintain a master communications calendar for optimal prioritization, sequencing, flow and understanding of upcoming opportunities to connect initiatives.
- Lead the team’s efforts to track and report on analytics that drive the communication strategy.
- Support the creation, maintenance and interpretation of detailed tracking mechanisms.
- Proactive collection of verbal/anecdotal feedback from the branch network.
- Collect feedback from voice of branch mechanisms (e.g., surveys/proactive calls/focus groups, etc.) to inform the team’s communication strategies.
- Identify operational improvements to standardize our partnership model and maintain tools and templates.
- Develop a project management tracker and help facilitate the team’s execution towards deadlines.
- Coordinate team meeting and annual offsite planning meeting.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or equivalent preferred.
- 1-3 years experience in a support role demonstrating effective communications skills; prior experience in financial services is preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments at once and produce results with accuracy and reliability.
- Must be a strategic thinker and a quick study.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (including grammar, editing and proofing). Knowledge of AP Style is a plus.
- Familiarity with SharePoint, graphic design, photo editing, video, project management and other disciplines of marketing and communications.
- Excellent customer service skills; must interact effectively with all levels and areas within Baird.
