Learn web development skills and put them into practice with a virtual internship in London, Dublin, Edinburgh, Rome, or Athens.
Learn to code while earning academic credit through the Coding Internship Program. You’ll gain the hands-on, technical skills and real-world work experience needed to impress employers and strengthen your resume.
Designed for students seeking to broaden their skill set, gain hands-on global experience, and enhance their career prospects, this program will teach you to think – and work – like a professional software engineer by making technical tradeoffs to build scalable web applications.
Your semester will consist of two six-week blocks. The first 6 weeks of your program will be dedicated to learning front-end web development, with a heavy emphasis on the application of practical skills. The online course culminates in the completion of two major projects that showcase your newly acquired skills. By the end of the course you will be able to build front-end websites from scratch, and through ready-made frameworks.
You’ll spend the next 6 weeks honing your skills by putting them into practice through your virtual internship placement in London, Dublin, Edinburgh, Rome, or Athens. Your placement is paired with the four-credit internship course to provide context for your international work experience and help you process what you’ve learned – professionally and personally – through your placement.
- Get relevant experience writing, implementing, and troubleshooting code.
