Students who completed Steps 1 & 2 and are eligible for summer internships should be in the process of applying, interviewing, and receiving offers! Once you do have an offer, we look forward to seeing your Internship Proposals in Handshake. The Proposal Deadline is April 15th – but earlier is better to ensure appointment availability and funding by the end of April. If you receive a late offer, we will still work with you through the last day of classes, but your funding may be delayed.
You will be able to refer to the Moodle Course content throughout the spring term if you need a refresher on any part of the process, but please reach out to internships@berea.edu, call 859.985.3656, or make an Internship Assistance Appointment in Handshake if you need additional support.
Continue to watch the Berea Bulletin, Campus Calendar, and BeyondBerea for internship events, and proceed with the rest of the Internship Steps, starting with Step 3. The Internship Program Staff will continue to communicate important information with you via Moodle emails and announcements.
